Ronnie E. Kilgore, age 76, of Whitwell, TN, died Thursday, November 5, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Kilgore, Jr. and Nellie Mae Morrison Kilgore; sisters, Virginia Dale and “Susie” Ferrell; and brother, Lanny Joe Kilgore.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Kilgore of Whitwell; children, Jamey Mae (Richard) McDaniel of Gruetli Laager and James Houston Kilgore of Whitwell; grandchildren, Stefanie (Jacob) Salter, Richard “Cecil” (Tayla) McDaniel, Gregory (Alexis) McDaniel, Marcy McDaniel, Austin Blake Kilgore, Tyler Kilgore and Kiley “Lucy” Kilgore; great-granddaughter, Hermione McDaniel; sister, Devota (Richard) Kilgore of Whitwell; brothers, Richard “Dick” Kilgore, Arnold “Rooster” (Estell) Kilgore, Ricky Allen (Sue) Kilgore, Jack Kilgore and Ronald Ray (Jenny) Kilgore; cousin and best friend, Stanley Cookston; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. CST at Kilgore Family Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. No visitation.
