Our hearts are heavy tonight as I’ve reminisced about childhood. Polly and Mitchell were my bonus parents. All the stories of the Bible, tea on each other’s porch’s,watermelon cuttings, homemade ice cream in the summers. Daddy and Mitchell going to Sugarcreek Ohio where Daddy was from to get trail bologna and Swiss cheese. Just life simple but great. I know Mitchell is free of the sickness that robbed him of his memory he now can laugh and be strong and I know he cried when he saw God, Jesus, and The Angels. Then all his family and friends. I take comfort knowing my daddy and brother were there waiting. Mitchell Kerley I will always remember how you helped me when I would cry over Daniel, and we would end up joking around. Some days I wish life could be childhood simple again. Enjoy eternity in Heaven. No more sickness. I will always be so grateful to you for being there with daddy after you got the call and had the dreaded task of telling daddy about Daniel I know how hurt you were too but you were there for him. You were his best friend. Thank you for every memory I have of you..
