John Thomas Swafford, Jr., age 47, of Pikeville, TN, died Monday, October 18, 2021. He was a member of Pikeville Church of God. He enjoyed wood carving, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, John Thomas Swafford, Sr.; grandparents, Earl and Helen Keedy and Elbert and Fannie Swafford; and aunt, Peggy Whittaker. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda Swafford of Pikeville; children, Katherine Swafford of Crossville, Jeremy (Kursten) Smith of Crossville, Samson Smith of Pikeville, Tobby Smith of Louisiana and Samantha Estes of Knoxville; six grandchildren; mother, Joyce (Buster) Keedy of Pikeville; sisters, Mindy (Eric) McGowan of Pikeville and Tabitha (David) White of Soddy Daisy; brother, Richard (Laura) Keedy of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ernest & Wanda Beard. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. CDT.
