Melvin Sandell, age 60, of Dunlap, TN, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Parkridge East Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his son, A.J. Sandell; mother, Betty Hindman; brother, Thomas Sandell.
He is survived by two daughters, Brooke (Andre) Leon, Dunlap, TN and April Sandell, Indianapolis, IN; sister, Roberta Mooneyham, Birchwood, TN; grandchildren, Tyler Sandell, Kaelyn Leon, Kyara Boone, Ana Sanchez, Zoe Pacheo, Thekra A., and Weston Leon.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 13, at 2:00 pm CDT Smith Cemetery, Soddy Daisy, TN with Jeff Gann officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Wednesday, 12:00 pm-1:00 pm CDT at the funeral home.
