Charlene Azelea Swafford, age 58, of Crossville, TN, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Charlotte Burgess; and sister, Patricia Redheffer.
She is survived by her children, Melanie Swafford, Marcy (Chico) Moreno and Jericia Hayes, all of Crossville; father of Jericia Hayes, Jerry Layne; five grandchildren, Ixchel, Panfilo, Aristotle, Zayleigh and Judah; and brothers, Ronald Burgess of Pikeville, TN, and Raynard Burgess, of OH.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Beach Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. CDT.
