I remember growing up in the house where the board of education is now, she and Joe lived next door to her mom and daddy.
I remember playing with Paul, Susie and Joanna in a swimming pool they had.
Marlene was a friendly out going person and never met a stranger, she loved Joe, Paul, Susie, Joanna with everything she had inside her heart.
If you ever showed up at supper time you never left hungry and she loved doing, and helping for people, she listened when you needed a friendly ear and never criticized you for your faults, she would encourage you to do better or she would tell you "you're better than that."
She loved being a Granny and Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she would smile from ear to ear when she spoke about them all.
She could carry all the burdens of the world on her back and you couldn't tell, she'd just smile and laugh a little and carry on.
Joe, you haven't lost your best friend you have all the memories that no book can ever hold.
Paul, Susie. Joanna, remember she loves you everyday of yours and her life, don't let this be a sad time, she's with her momma, daddy, and sister smiling down on the greatest thing in her mortal life her family.
