DJ was a special person. To know him was to love him. He was a devoted husband, a caring son, the best brother, the “fun” uncle, and a friend to so many. DJ had a love for Virgil’s root beer, the UT Vols, the Nashville Predators and peanut butter pie. In his free time, he loved planting flowers, playing softball, and doting on his nieces and nephews who were so special to him. His family was important to him and he loved them fiercely. DJ had the biggest heart and was always ready to help anyone in need. The impact he made on others will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
