Aaron F. Gann, age 92, of Hixson, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at CHI Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Alice Gann; sisters, Wilma Joyce Gann and Treva Carol Reed; brothers, James Hoyt Gann and George Collins Gann.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Gann; two sons, Rick (Suzie) Gann and Terry (Shannon) Gann; grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Swisher, Josh (Danielle) Gann, and Hayden Gann; great-grandchildren, Connor Gann, Aaron Gann, and Wyatt Swisher.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 4:00 p.m. EDT in Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Braxton Cotton and David Marr officiating. Burial will be Sunday 2:00 p.m. EDT in Sardis Cemetery, Whitwell, TN. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Fairview United Methodist Church, 3901 Hamill Rd., Hixson, TN 37343. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Saturday 2:00-4:00 p.m. EDT.
