Joanne Mabry Davis, age 86, of Dunlap, TN, passed away July 3, 2021 at NHC Healthcare. She was born May 9, 1935 in Dunlap, TN to Hugh and Beulah Mabry. She was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Buck" Davis; son, Kenneth Davis; parents, Hugh and Beulah Mabry; brothers, Bennett (Patty) Mabry, Gilbert (Valaria) Mabry, Daniel Mabry; sister, Kathryn (Bob) Gann.
She is survived by her son, Gary Davis Sr. (Kris Smith); grandsons, Jeremy (Tory) Davis, Joshua (Andrea) Davis, and Gary (Brittne) Davis Jr.; great-grandchildren, Joanne,Bennett, and Dominic; sister-in-law, Wilma Mabry; many nieces, nephews, and those wandering souls she tucked under her wings. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy, Joshua, and Gary Davis Jr, Wayne Gann, Ben Gann, and Gil Mabry Jr.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, at 5:30 pm CDT in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Johnathan Gann officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends 3:30-5:30 pm CDT.
