Richard LeCompte, age 71, of Whitwell, TN, passed away June 4, 2021 at his home. He was of the Catholic faith and was an incredible husband. Richard served in The United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Carmen McMichael LeCompte; daughter, Jennifer LeCompte; son, Richard LeCompte, Jr., both of California; several grandchildren; four sisters, Sherry, Leslie, Cindy and Jackie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Clifford Land officiating. Burial will be in Condra Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 may Road, Dunlap, TN. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CDT.
