Janet L. Cordell, age 67, of Pikeville, TN died Monday, May 31, 2021.
She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She was a cashier at JJ’s Market for 25 years. She loved to crochet and shared her talent with those she loved. She was well known as Nana by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pivon; parents, Charles & Myrtle Lee Walker; and her sister, Deborah Mazlemian.
She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda “Yo” White of Pikeville and Mintra (Charee) Raman of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Jaclyn (Phillip Powell) Saunders, Olivia “Sadie” (Joseph) Isham, Anna White, Avery (Hannah Stegall) Black, Jackson Black and Gracie “MeMe” White, great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rae Wooden and Arabella Black; siblings, Charles, Jr., Rhonda, Yolanda, Leonard and Michael and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Matt Lockhart officiating. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT and Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
