George A. Smith, age 72, of Pikeville, TN died Thursday, April 8, 2021.
He was a member of Lee Station Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Estelle Smith; brothers, Joe, Harold, Billy Joe, Gaither, Homer and Leroy Smith; and sisters, Reba Holt, Betty Dunn and Edna Savage.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda Smith; sons, Rodney (Nellie) Smith, Brian (Kathy) Smith, Jeremiah (Reena) Smith and Kenneth Smith; daughter, Kyndra Smith; grandchildren, LeeAnne, Tony, Evan, Daniel, Carrie, Ashley, Halem, Nathaniel, Kaylana, Felicia and Shawn; great-grandsons, Axel and Tre; brother, Bob (Helen) Smith; sisters, Eva Johnson, Virginia (David) Summers and Wilma Hankins; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wendell Harris officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. CDT; Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT and Monday, April 12 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
