Don N. Higenbottom, age 74, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, January 29, 2021. He was a retired pastor and a servant to his community. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers, woodworking and playing the guitar. He was a mechanic by trade, and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Kay Higenbottom; parents, Dewey Higenbottom and Bernice Hicks; sisters, Wilma Jean Lerou and Kay Huckabee; brother, Paul Lee Higenbottom; and grandson, A.J. Sandell. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Higenbottom of Pikeville; children, Alisa McKee of Dunlap, Donna (Arthur) Hackler of Soddy Daisy, Patty Mae Burns of Hixson, Clay N. Higenbottom of Pikeville and Tammy Ledford (Shane Orr) of Pikeville, TN; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jeffery Higenbottom of Soddy Daisy; sister, Diane Banks of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CST.
