Zula Jane Wheat, age 71, of Whitwell, TN, passed away January 3, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Truevine Ministries. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mollie Drain Parker; father, Gordon Parker; husband, Robert Johnson; son, Ray Collins; step-sons, Robert, Mark, David, and Billy Johnson; brothers, Ken and James Parker; brother-in-law, Larry Lockmiller.
She is survived by her son, Alec (Marcia) Long, Whitwell; step-daughter, Katie Johnson, Dunlap; grandchildren, Wes (Tonya) Johnson, Etowah, Hailey and Bobby Johnson, Dunlap, Hannah Powell, Whitwell, Jazzy Long, Whitwell, Brittany and Nicole Parsons, Dunlap, great-grandchildren, Aubree Johnson, Niota, Lily and Logan Wilkerson, Etowah, Zayden, Amyia and Elijah Farmer, Whitwell, sisters, Beulah Lockmiller, Chattanooga, Delorse (Tim) Hartness, Chattanooga, Vera Gantz, Dunlap, several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm CST Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Truevine Ministries with Pastor Troy Simmons and Pastor Alec Long officiating. Burial will be in Whitwell Memorial Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN 37397. Family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-8:00 pm CST at the funeral home.
