LaVera Ann Rollins, age 86, of Whitwell, TN, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. LaVera was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Whitwell First Baptist Church, and she had retired from Dixie Yarns. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry N. Rollins; children: H. Rodney Rollins, Richard N. Rollins, and Danny L. Rollins; parents: Frank and Lula Thomas, and sister, Susie Jane Turner. She is survived by her daughters: Marsha (Ed) Anderson of Hixson, Karen Barnette of Hixson, and son, Brian (Wanda) Rollins of LaFayette, GA, grandchildren: Tommy (Donna) Penney, Robert Scales, Crystal (Clint) Birch, Brandy (Doug) Biederman, Drew (Trish) Barnette, Samantha Barnette, Danielle Rollins, and Zachary (Lauren) Rollins, and many great-grandchildren, sister, Freda (Bill) Neely of Holland, MI, and brothers: George “Pete” (Jean) Thomas of Ringgold, GA, and Sam (Mary) Thomas of McDonald, TN, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held at Reed Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4-8pm CST. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2:00pm CST/3:00pm EST at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN.
