Richard Harold Bowman, age 92, of Pikeville, TN, died Thursday, December 17, 2020. He attended Glenn’s Chapel Full Gospel Church. He loved working with wood and was a timber cutter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Louise Savage Bowman; daughter, Shina Bowman; two grandchildren, Jason and Amy Bowman; and one great-grandchild, Weston William Humble. He is survived by his children, Evalene (Winton) Humble of Pikeville, Beecher (Kathy) Bowman of Pikeville, Gary Bowman of Pikeville, Glen (Darlene) Bowman of Pikeville, Betty (Stanley) Songer of Pikeville, John Thomas (Wanda) Bowman of Dunlap, TN and Sidney (Virginia) Bowman of Pikeville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Bobby Newell Bowman of Sequatchie Co., Tn; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held, Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. CST at Savage Cemetery with Rev. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial will be in Savage Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. CST.
