Marshall Eugene "Gene" Walker, age 64, of Dunlap, TN, died Monday morning December 14, 2020 at CHI Memorial Hospital. He was a member of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church and was employed at Variform in Jasper, TN.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Walker; mother, Billie Sue Tippens Merriman; father, George Truitt Walker; brother, Gerald Walker.
He is survived by four daughters, Brandi (Raymond) Brown, and Melinda (Dallas) Pursley, both of Ringgold, GA, Eva (Martin) Soria and Delinda (Mike) Knott, both of Crossville, TN; son, Adam Hughes, Crossville, TN; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday 1:00 p.m. CST at the Sequatchie Memorial Gardens Community Cemetery with Rev. Edward Walker officiating. Arrangements are by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. The family will receive friends Wednesday 4-8 p.m. CST. The family request that mask be worn during visitation and service.
