Obituary of Johnny R McDonald

Johnny R. McDonald, age 66, of Greenhead, FL, died, Monday, November 23, 2020. He worked with research and development at Pittsburg Knitting Mill for 22 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was passionate about sports and loved coaching his children and grandchildren in various sports. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Geneva McDonald, Sr.; sister, Mary Ann Kirk; brother, Byron Walker; and son-in-law, Lynn Marona. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie McDonald of Greenhead, FL; children, Casey (Ray) Coffey, Hollywood, AL, Jobo McDonald, Jonesboro, TN, Dusty Marona, Bryant, AL, Chausee (Doug) Caldwell, Whitwell, TN, Cierra Marlowe, Huntland, TN, Christan York, Ozark, AL, Caleb McDonald, Winchester, TN, Canaan McDonald, US Air Force, Caeden McDonald, Greenhead, FL and Destiny McDonald, Bryant, AL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Lee McDonald, Jr., Sale Creek, TN. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Gudger officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland View Cemetery.
