Gary Allen Cagle, age 72, of Dunlap, TN, passed away November 22, 2020 at The Manorhouse. He served in The United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Gary was an EMT and police officer for Sequatchie County and also served as Chief of Police for the City of Dunlap. He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Jewell Cagle.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Cagle; daughter, Angie Cagle Bowen, Atlanta, GA; son, Paul Cagle, Chattanooga; step-sons, Steven Walker, B.J. (April) Walker, and Jackie Walker, all of Dunlap; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandsons; sister, Connie (Eric) Easterly; two brothers, Randall (Charlotte) Cagle, and Ricky (Kathy) Cagle, all of Dunlap; several nieces and nephews.
Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap, TN 37327. Private burial will be in Cagle-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. No Visitation.
