Lynn Marona, age 39, of Bryant, AL passed away, Monday September 7, 2020 at Parkridge Medical Center.
He was a member of the Holly Avenue United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg, TN. Lynn graduated with honors from Jefferson State Community College with an Associates of Science in Funeral Service. He was a former employee of Rogers Funeral Home and was currently the manager at Reed Funeral Home in Whitwell, TN, where he served as funeral director and embalmer. He also worked as a trade embalmer for many funeral homes in the area. Lynn was an avid Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Marona; grandparents, Bill and Dot Marona and Doug and Bettye Fitz-Gerald.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Dusty Marona; daughters, Hazel and Josie Marona and Destiny McDonald; mother, Clara Marona, Trenton, GA; sister, Kristen (Tumesha Cameron) Marona, Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 11, 2020, 3:00 pm CDT at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bryant, AL with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Marona Memorial Fund at Citizens Bank in Trenton, GA. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Reed Funeral Home, 11675 Hwy 28, Whitwell, TN. Family will receive friends Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 pm CDT.
