Rowena Swanner, age 73, died May 24, 2020, at her home. She was an R.N. for 37 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Swanner; mother, Ida Smith; sister, Helen Marie Smith; uncle, Dave Smith; and son-in-law, Tim Johnson.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Cliffelene Johnson of Pikeville and Wanda (Scott) Turner of Dunlap; son, Clifford Shane Swanner of Pikeville; grandchildren, Sasha Johnson, Adam Johnson and Billy Turner; great-granddaughter, Brianna Johnson; brother, Lebron Smith of Cleveland; aunt, Wilma Holt of NC; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service only Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. CDT at Howard Walker Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
