Ferrill Eldridge White, age 91 of Pikeville, TN, died May 12, 2020 at his home.
He was a member of Winesap Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He was in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Ferrill loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Opal Stallard and Oleta Yates; and brother, Bob White.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty White, Pikeville; son, Eric (Pamela) White, Pikeville; grandchildren, Jillian Vines, Alpharetta , GA, Sarah White, Spring City, TN, Rachel White, Pikeville and Peyton White, Pikeville; great-grandson, Winston Vines; siblings; Jerry (Ruth) White, Dayton, TN, James Carl (Shirley) White, Bristol, TN and Patty (Jim) Taylor, Maryville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Tennessee state guidelines concerning COVID 19, there will be a private service. Burial will be in Akin Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
