Nelson Lee Mccurry, Sr., also known as "Noogie", of Whitwell, TN, Died Saturday, May 2, 2020, at his home from a battle with cancer. He is Survived by his wife, Andrea Ann Mccurry, his son, Nelson Lee Mccurry, Jr., and his daughter, Kimberly Dianne Payne (Mary Steele). His grandchildren, Travis Mccurry, Darvin Mccurry (Destiny Foote), Gabrielle Payne and Peyton Steele, and great grandsons Alex Mccurry and Braxton Mccurry. Bothers and sisters Carl Mccurry, Gloria Tucker, Richard Mccurry, Charlotte Dill, Eugene Mccurry and Kenneth Mccurry, Sr. Also, Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020. Pall Bearers include Kenneth Mccurry Jr., Kendall Mccurry, Nathan Jones, Darvin Mccurry, Peyton Steele, and Paul Howard.
