Joanne S. Turner, age 82, of Pikeville, TN, died April 27, 2020 at her home.
She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jennings Sapp and Dixie Martin Sapp; siblings, Frances Walker, Thomas Sapp, James Sapp, Edward Sapp, Betty Jane Griffin, Jeanelle Cunningham, Leftric "Billy" Sapp and Marshall Sapp.
She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Turner of Pikeville, TN; children, Katherine (LeBron) Brown of Walterboro, SC; David (Sheila) Turner of Pikeville, TN and Timothy (Debbie) Turner of Pikeville, TN; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Tennessee state guidelines concerning COVID 19, there will be a private service. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
