Doris Marie Agee, age 89, of Chattanooga, TN, died April 22, 2020 at NHC Healthcare in Dunlap, TN.
She was an active member of Hixson United Methodist Church. She graduated from Nursing School in 1951 and retired in 1996 after 45 years of service. During that time, she was the nurse manager at Neurology & Orthopedics at Erlanger Medical Center. She was an avid Braves fan and never missed watching a game.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mabel Agee; and brothers, Wallace and Ted Agee.
She is survived by her sister, Carol (Claude) Wood of Pikeville, TN; brothers, Pat (Frances) Agee of Pikeville, TN and Perry Agee of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law, Jamie Agee of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Due to Tennessee state guidelines concerning COVID 19, there will be a private service. Burial will be in Parham Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
