I worked with Marie for many years at EMC on the neurology/ENT unit. She was a strong nurse manager and ran a well managed unit. We remained friends long after I left Erlanger. She will be long remembered by all at EMC and by those who knew her. It was an honor wo have worked with her and to have her as a life long friend.

I am a retired neurosurgeon who worked with Miss Agee at Erlanger and retired in 1993. She was without question the best nurse in the hospital and ran the best two wards. She & I reformed neurosurgery and under her direction gave excellent care to the patients. I can remember her quiet confidence but at the same time completer control over the good of the patient. It was a joy to work with her & I can say that we never had a conflict since our goals & motivation were congruent. I have many fond memories of her & value her with the highest respect. I know we will all miss her. It was a distinct honor to work with her

Ms Agee was my first Head Nurse and I worked for and with her for 16 years. She was like a work mother to me and taught me so much. I went to visit her a couple of months ago and I’m so sorry I didn’t make it back. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Mrs. Agee at Erlanger Medical Center in the late 80's. I just graduated from nursing school. She taught me a lot. She was all way willing to go the extra mile to help you learn. She was a great teacher and a good friend to have. May she rest in peace.
