Gary Wayne Sanders, 58, of Whitwell, TN, passed away at a local health care facility on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was of the Methodist Faith. The son of the late Leo and Lucille Ramsey Sanders, Gary was also preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Lee, Grady, Richard, and Darrell Sanders. Gary leaves his daughters, Alisha (James) Long, Nancy (Jonathan) Richards; grandchildren James Long Jr., Lakata Long, Destiny Long, Derrick Long, Preston Sanders, and Faith Richards; great granddaughter, Aubrey Helt; brother Leslie Sanders; sisters, Brenda Mabry, Charlotte Parker, Sue Sanders, Lois Higgins, Regina Healey, and ex-wife, Vickie Sanders to cherish his memory. Funeral services will be held from the graveside at Pine Hill Cemetery at Noon CST, on Saturday, March 7, 2020. The family will receive friends at Fairhaven Church on Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. CST, and on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. CST.
