Mildred Farmer, age 97, of Pikeville, TN, a child of God and a person of worth, died as she lived, with dignity and grace, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at the home of her daughter in Crossville. She was known by “Aunt Sis”. She was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church.
Mom, we hold you close in our hearts and take comfort…those who love will be reunited in eternity. Fly high with the angels.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Max Farmer; and parents, Buck Womack and Willette Hancock Womack.
She is survived by her children, Jerry (Sue) Farmer, Mary Ann (Michael) Knight and Gary Farmer; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Friday, February 28 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CST and Saturday, February 29 from 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.
