Dennis White was my teacher, my mentor, my example, and my Dad. I have never called him my Father, although he was, but I have never called him anything else but my "Dad." I have always known that any 'male' can become a father, but it takes someone special to be a real Dad...and he was. He taught me how to throw a curve ball, how to fish, how to shoot, all about the outdoors as my Scout Master, and how to work on a car, design and build things, how to wire a house, and why to love this country. He showed me what it was to be a good friend to others and I saw, first hand, how those others repaid that friendship to my Dad. All of my life I have been proud of my Dad and I will still always try to live my life to make him, and my Mom, proud of me. Above all, I will miss him greatly and deeply. But I am CERTAIN that when I get to that Great Gate of Heaven, he and my Mom will be right inside the Gate awaiting my arrival. He was one of a kind and I'm very glad that I am his son. Dad, I love you and will miss you but where you are now is much greater than where you were. Enjoy the eternal fruits of your faith and service and I'll see you again soon. Tell Mom and Christ hello for me and save me a hug. May Our God bless you Dad. ……...Your Proud Son, Mike.
