Obituary of Timothy Lee Johnson

Timothy Johnson, age 65, of Pikeville, TN died Tuesday, February 18, 2020. He was a member of Brockdell Church of God and worked 13 years at Tecumseh. He retired from Mann-Hummel. He was a huge Tennessee fan and loved to play basketball. He was a basketball coach for many years and loved a good Western. He always loved to make everyone laugh with his stories and jokes and he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Johnson; niece, Sherry Howser; and father-in-law, Clifford Swanner. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy Cliffelene Johnson of Pikeville; father, Levi Johnson of Pikeville; children, Chad (Kindall) Johnson of El Paso, TX, Sasha (Daniel Casada) Johnson of East Ridge, TN and Adam (Kimberly) Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Marie, Madison, Maxwell and Brianna; siblings, Phyllis (Lee) Lies of Graysville, TN, Treva (Ronnie) Holloway of Tullahoma, TN and Robin (Steve) Taylor of Dunlap, TN; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Rowena Swanner; brother-in-law, Shane Swanner; sister-in-law, Wanda (Scott) Turner of Dunlap, TN; his precious dog and cat, Peyton and Tom; and grand-kitty, Zoe. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Cagle Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com.
