Vesta Louise Ladd, age 95, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Thursday, January 9, 2020. She attended the Church of God and worked at Bledsoe County Nursing home for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Ladd; infant son, Jerry Lynn Ladd; son, Alan E. Ladd; daughter, Brenda Gail Ladd; infant granddaughter, Grace Ladd; parents, William G. and Nellie J. Riggs; brothers, Fred Riggs, Robert Riggs, Raymond Riggs; sister, Carzeal Ammons; and cousin Carrie Lee Boyd.
She is survived by her sons, Charles (Margaret) Ladd, Pikeville, Jeff Ladd, Pikeville; grandchildren, Anthony Ladd, Pikeville, Chrissie (Keith) Ladd Morlean, Knoxville, Jeffery C. Ladd, Pikeville, Monica D. Johnson, Crossville, Amanda Johnson, Pikeville, Jessica Seals Blevins, Pikeville, Jason Ladd, Pikeville; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Andy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Ladd Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST and Saturday, January 11, 2020, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
