Delta Re Walker, age 85, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Monday, December 16, 2019. She was a member of Mooneyham Church of God. She loved art and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonas and Lillie Smith; children, Rosie Walker and Frances Earline Blaylock; daughter-in-law, Peggy Walker; grandchildren, Scotty Blaylock, Gary Walker, Erica Walker, Anthony Dunn, Tony Evans, Jeremy Walker, Joseph Walker, and Rebecka Hall; great-grandchildren, Dewayne and Angel; sisters, Hazel Brown, Myrtle Campbell, Mary Melton and Wilma Bolin; brothers, Charlie, Tommy, Walter and Casto Smith; two half-sisters, Mamie Garrett and Nora Presley.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Bertie Alonza Walker of Pikeville; children, Marlin (Kim) Walker, Pikeville, Franel Hale, Kansas City, KS, Betty (Clarence) Dunn, Cleveland, James Walker, Spencer, Rickey (Barbara) Walker, Kansas City, KS, Bernice Cottles, Spencer, Glen Walker, Spencer, Michael (April) Walker, Cleveland and Gail Shearlin, Spencer; grandchildren, Christiana Cottles, Isabella Cottles, Melissa Harvey, Paige Simmons, Courtney Walker, Brandon Walker, Casey Walker, Debbie Bedwell, Camden Walker, Gene Dunn, Chris Dunn, Tommy Evans, Jerry Hale, Jamie Hale, Jaslynn Dillon, Skyla Evans, Jordyn Dillon, Landin Evans, Amanda Walker, Ashley Walker, Brittany Woodman, Madisyn Walker, Blake Walker, Ella Walker, Amber Walker, Shane Walker, and Tanner Gwinn; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Andrew, Dillon, Alissa, Sydney, Mariah, Summer, Trey, Nick, Lexie, Kristen, Amanda, Ashley, Jessie, Rebecka, Jason, Noah, Braxon, Ethan, Cameron, Bradley, Hanna, Jery, Amber, Polly, Graylen, Chevy, Riley, Chase, Keely and Garrett; great-great grandchildren, Kaylee, Alia, Sophie, Braylin, Haley, Skylar, Zayden, Easton and Alexi and many more; and sister, Radith Smith.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CST at Mooneyham Church of God with Bro. Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Blaylock Cemetery. Visitation will be held starting Wednesday, December 18, 2019 starting at 2:00 p.m. CST, Thursday, December 19 until time of service Friday
