Obituary of Claudia Abbott
Claudia Knight Abbott, age 82 of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Methodist Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Abbott; parents, Robert and Lena Knight; sisters, Susie Redd, Ida Frady, Francis Spencer, Dolly Howington; brothers, Carl Knight, Homer Knight, and Herman Knight.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Tonya) Hart, Rockwood, TN; grandchildren, Anthony Fugate, Christopher Newman, Chad Newman, Danielle Mallonee, Kimberly Hart; great-grandchildren, Keyona, Ayden, Landon, Jaxen, Auston, Madalinn, Kayleigh, Baileigh, Abel, Ellie Mae, Desmond, Devon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 16, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Colby Bridwell officiating. Burial will be in Watson’s Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. CST.
