Obituary of Houston L. Nunley
Houston L. Nunley, age 50, of Cosby, TN formerly of Grundy County, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, TN. Houston was Manager at Smoky Mountain Outdoors White Water Rafting in Gatlinburg, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, James David Nunley; sister, Earline Tate.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Morrison Nunley, Tracy City, TN; siblings, Marcus and Mandel Nunley, Tracy City, TN, Earl Campbell, Chattanooga, TN; half siblings, Janie and Jemmy Layne, Tracy City, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the Coalmont Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday December 11, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.
