Obituary of Joyce Evelyn White
Evelyn Wilson White, age 92, of Dunlap, TN, passed away, Thursday, September 5, 2019 at NHC of Dunlap. She was born in Knoxville, TN and it was where she met the love of her life her late husband Mack. They moved to Dunlap where they raised their family.She was a loving mother, granny, great-granny and great-great granny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack White; son, David White; two sisters, Betty Steward and Barbara Lockhart; three brothers, Kenneth, Lynn and Danny Wilson.
She is survived by three daughters, Sue Manley, Jeanette Payne, Karen (Ralph) Green, all of Dunlap; six grandchildren, Chris (Nelly) Payne, Cindy (Sandy) Wood, Greg (Jane) Heard, Stephanie (Don) Little, Travis (Amanda) Manley, and Justin (Rolanda) Green; 10 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Glynn (Joan) Wilson, Dunlap.
Memorial services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. CDT at the Chapel Hill Historical Church with Rev. Jared Wood officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sequatchie County Food Bank or Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 p.m. CDT until service time at the church.
