The son of the late Stanley and Mary Helen Burks Jacks, Doug was a fan of NHRA Racing.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Jacks; daughter, Whitney Jacks; grandson Mateo Thomas Guerrero; sister, Cathy McCraw (Jimmy), and nephew, Jeremiah Watkins.
