Obituary of Thomas Dion Shannon
Thomas D. Shannon, age 71, of Evensville, TN, died Sunday, June 30, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Henry Shannon; brothers, Billy and Clifford Shannon; sisters, Shirley Hitchcox and Linda Shannon Brock; nephew, Ricky Hitchcox; and great-granddaughter, Sahara Williams.
Survivors include Josephine C. Shannon; children, Tina Williams of Athens, Lisa Williams of Evensville, Tresa (Darian) Frerichs of Coker Creek, TN, Tommy (Tracie) Shannon of Graysville and Bobby (Samantha) Shannon of Evensville; grandchildren, Brett Williams, Summer Shannon, Mitchell Frerichs, Tanner Frerichs, Donavan Shannon and Dakota Shannon; brothers, Earl (Sandra) Shannon of Luminary, Lee (Janie) Shannon of Pikeville and Paul (Nancy) Shannon of Dunlap; sister-in-law, Evalene Shannon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT.
