Obituary of Linda Shannon Brock
Linda Shannon Brock, age 73 of Pikeville, TN, died Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at her home.
She was a member of Sequatchie Valley Church of Christ. Linda was an active member of the ceramics class at Bledsoe County Senior Center, and was the child care provider for many families in Bledsoe County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Brock; parents, Cleo and Henry Shannon; brothers, Billy Shannon, Clifford Shannon; sister Shirley Hitchcox; and nephew Ricky Hitchcox.
Survivors include, Tracie Shannon, Frank (Jessica) Swafford, Rhea Britt; brothers, Earl (Sandra) Shannon, Luminary, Tom (Josephine) Shannon, Summer City, Lee (Janie) Shannon, Pikeville, Paul (Nancy) Shannon, Dunlap; sister-in-law, Evalene Shannon, Pikeville; and aunt Geraldine Walling.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CDT.
