Obituary of Bobby Gene Brown
Bobby Gene Brown, age 79, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Dura Automotive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Caleb and Gussy Brown; wife, Wanda Carol (Bell) Brown; son, Robert Michael Brown; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Gregory David (Brandi) Brown of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Jodie Holt Brown of Crossville; sister, Anna Ruth (Ralphe) Rorex of Maryville; special daughter, Tina Hall of Whitwell; nine grandchildren; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews; and brother by arms, Joe Camp of Dunlap.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Pendergrass Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. CDT, Friday from 9:00 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. CDT and Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
