Obituary of Johnny William Boring
Johnny Boring, age 77, of Pikeville, TN, died Friday, April 19, 2019 at his home. He attended Frostbite House of Prayer. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a truck driver, working in the logging industry. He was the owner of a produce stand in Rossville, GA for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Boring; and parents, John Martin & Evalyn Boring.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Juanita Boring of Pikeville, TN; son, Jon Patrick Boring of Pikeville, TN; sister, Shirley Clingan; brother, Randall VanWinkle; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. C.D.T. at Rigsby Cemetery with military honors. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN.
