Obituary of LC Dykes
Lannie "L.C." Dykes, age 78, of Pikeville, TN, died Tuesday, April 15, 2019. He was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid deer hunter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Thelma Dykes; grandson, Joshua Hitchcox; and five sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Dykes of Pikeville; daughter, Lisa Hitchcox of Pikeville; three sons, Kenny (Joyce) Dykes of Ohio, Ritchie Dykes and Casper Dykes, both of Pikeville; nine grandchildren, Nathan, Kyle, KC, Justin, Dylan, Nikita, Lora, Brittney and Cassidy; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Cruse of FL; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Rogers and Bro. Darryl Nance officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcox Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. CDT and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. CDT.
