Obituary of Earnest Lloyd Ford

    Ernie Ford, age 83, of Pikeville, TN, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.  He was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church.  He was the night watchman at The Bledsoe Highway Department.

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Vickie Ford; stepson, Freddie Dewayne Sullivan; parents, Robert and Nettie Ford; sisters, Edna Rucker, Jean DeRosa and Eileen Yingst; and brothers, Everett Ford, Harlan Ford and Elvin Ford.

   He is survived by stepchildren, Tammy (Rick Sanders) Sullivan of Dunlap, Tracey (Bruce) Pendergrass of Pikeville and Ron (Cristie) Sullivan of Pikeville; grandchildren, David Yeargan, Garth Pendergrass, Zach Pendergrass, Blake Pendergrass, Jessica (Josh) Dennis, Tamara (BJ) Hadden, Kayla (Felimon) Espinoza, Tiffany (Adrian) Hernandez, Bradley Sullivan, De'Alan (Brittany) Sullivan, Mikey (Brianna) Sullivan and Tabitha (Isaac) Licht; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Welch and Ruby Sullivan; brother, Aaron Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. C.D.T..
