My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ernie. I dated Ernie around 2005 and we had a lot of good times together. He was a wonderful man and a true gentleman. We had both lost our spouses previously and he and I were able to share feelings about our lives with them together, things that only someone who has lost a spouse can understand. I've thought of Ernie over the years and wondered how he was doing. I saw the picture of him ringing the bell, so apparently he fought cancer and I pray he didn't suffer long with it. I will keep this family in my prayers and wish you peace and comfort. God bless.
