Betty D. Harvey, age 67, of Signal Mountain, TN passed away on February 7, 2019 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie David and Bessie Viola Sims; several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, John Harvey; daughter, Kim Harvey; sons, Chris (Scarlet) Harvey and Jason Harvey, all of Signal Mountain; grandchildren, Paige (Levi) Taylor, Cleveland, Kristin Harvey, Cookeville, Jacob Harvey, Dunlap, Shelby Stewart, Dalton, GA, Cameron Harvey, Signal Mountain, Kendall Lawrence, Signal Mountain, MaKayla Harvey, McMinnville; three great-grandchildren, Abigail and Luke Taylor and Addalynn Bottomlee; three sisters, Ruby Bureau, Signal Mountain, Alma Young, Rossville, GA, and Mary Etta Smith, GA; two brothers, Claude Sims, Red Bank and Norman Sims, Cookeville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dave Marcum officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements by Standefer-Reed Funeral Home, 50 May Road, Dunlap. Family will receive friends Saturday 4:00-8:00 p.m. CST.
