Obituary of James Robert Brewer
James Robert Brewer, age 68, of Pikeville, TN, died Monday morning, January 28, 2019 at his home.
He was a member of New Hope The Baptist Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Nellie Mae Hubbard Brewer; sister, Myrtle Lee Burgess; and brothers, Charles Leslie Brewer and Hubert Ray Brewer.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Reagan Brewer; sons, James Lee (Nicci) Brewer and Jesse Lynn (Michelle) Brewer; daughter, Julie Mae Brewer; four grandchildren, James Andrew Brewer, Jocelyn Jones Brewer, Abigail Lynn Brewer and Owen Lee Brewer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Eric Woods and Bro. Barry Whittaker officiating. Burial will be in Beach Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. CST and Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST.
