Obituary of Norlee Reece

    Norlee Reece, age 78, of Pikeville, TN, died Monday, January 14, 2019 at Hospice of Chattanooga.

    He was a member of the Chattanooga Kennel Club and the St. Bernard Club of America.  He was a long time professional dog handler and well-respected in the dog show world, known as a person that made all feel welcome into a sport he spent a large part of his life in.

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Frances Reece; mother, Dorothy Reece; father, James H. Reece; brothers, Charles Reece and James Reece, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Alexander.

  He is survived by his son, Rusty (Linda) Reece; and grandchildren, Lee Reece and Ashton Reece.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local animal shelter of your choice.
