Obituary of Jeanelle Reece DeBord
Jeanelle DeBord, age 87, of Pikeville, TN, died on December 19, 2018. She was a member of Griffith Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles G. DeBord, Sr.; son, Charles G. DeBord, Jr.; parents, Roy and Ova Reece; great-grandchild, Lucas DeBord; sisters, Geneva Anderson, Margaret Anderson and Burma Brewer; and brother, Arlis Reece.
She is survived by daughters, Charlotte Baker, Sharlene (Robby) Roberson; son, Roy (Carol) DeBord; and daughter-in-law, Sheryl DeBord, all of Pikeville; grandchildren, Terry (Benita) DeBord, Jerry (Laura) DeBord, Roy (Sarah) DeBord and Adam Roberson, all of Pikeville, James (Una) DeBord of Dunlap and Ben (Wendy) Baker of Gainesboro, TN; great-grandchildren, Terra Beth DeBord , Emily DeBord, Isaac DeBord, Andrew DeBord , Maria DeBord, Sawyer DeBord, Amelia DeBord, Carson DeBord, Landon DeBord, Skyler Baker, Eli Baker, Allison Baker, Coleman Campbell and Jesse Vargas; great great-grandchild, Rameses Pendergrass; sisters, Marie (Henry Clay) Sapp and Erma (Clifford) Hale; brother, Gerald (JoAnn) Reece; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to all her caregivers, Dr. Sapp and the nursing Staff at Erlanger Bledsoe, Cindy Britton, and Gayla Welch.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in DeBord Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CST and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. CST.
