   Clyde Whittenburg, age 81, of Pikeville, TN, died Saturday, December 1, 2018, at his home.  He was a United States Army veteran and a timber cutter and carpenter.

   He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Jean Whittenburg; son-in-law, Denny Deweese; daughter-in-law, Iretha Deweese; parents, Joe Taylor and Ethel Whittenburg; brothers, Lester, Elbert and Virden Whittenburg; and sisters, Ellen Frank and Olus Bayless.

   He is survived by his granddaughters, Bailey Deweese and Hayla Moore; great-grandson, Cy Deweese; sisters, Helen Medley of Spencer and Barbara Whittenburg of Pikeville; brother, Larry Whittenburg of Pikeville; special nephew, Billy Whittenburg; and several other nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Walling Cemetery.  Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. CDT and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CDT.
