Obituary of Mary Ruth Crosby
Mary Ruth (Creason) Crosby, age 84, of Pikeville, TN died on Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was a member of Cold Springs Church of Christ and retired from Taft Youth Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Crosby; parents, Fred and Susie Creason; brothers, J.D. Creason and Walter Creason; sister, Ruby Billingsley; and niece, Cynthia Creason.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Benjamin) Moyer, Soddy Daisy, Teresa (Steve) Tatum, Chattanooga; grandchildren, Eric Brown, Stephanie Parratt and Ariel Tatum; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Anna (Arnold) Bedwell of Pikeville; special nephew, Larry Billingsley, and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Iron Hill Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Sunday October 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. CDT and Monday October 8, 2018 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. CDT.
