Obituary of Carl Norman Brown
Carl N. Brown, age 77, of Graysville, TN died Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his home.
He was the principal of Rigsby Elementary for 23 years and a part of Bledsoe & Sequatchie School systems. He was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member and supporter of Vietnam Veterans of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Emma Brown; brothers, Wayne, Raymond, Bobby Joe and Freeman Brown; and sister-in-laws, Ruth Brown, Dean Brown and Marie Brown.
He is survived by his brothers, Stanley Brown and Winfred (Patsy) Brown, both of Graysville, TN; nephew, Lebron (Kathy) Brown of Walterboro, SC; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. CDT in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ronny Colvard, Bro. J.C. Allen and Rev. Steve James officiating. Burial will be in Brayton Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at reedfamilyfh.com. Arrangements are by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home, 1171 Main Street, Pikeville, TN. Visitation will be Monday, July 23 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. CDT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rigsby Elementary.
